Macedonian vice champion Metalurg defends the trophy from tournament in Struga after the beat Ivrt 24-22 (16-7) in finale game. Everyone expected another "city finale", between Vardar and Metalurg, but French Ivry made big surprise winning Vardar in second round. Even Vardar lead with eight goals in 45 minutes, at the end Ivry celebrates their victory, 30-29.

The final looked not to be interesting, since furious beginning of the Macedonian team as they lead 16-6 after 29 minutes. Darko Stanic was perfect on goal line, bacl line Naumce Mojsovski - Pavel Atman worked well.

But without them, and without Vugrinec, Metalurg is quite different. Ivry manage to reduce gap from 18-9 in 36 minutes, to 23-22, but Naumce Mojsovski solves dilemmas in the last minute goal to win.
