Presenting PPD Zagreb

Zagreb

PPD Zagreb have proved themselves as SEHA League constant throughout all six seasons so far. Always a part of TOP 4, always on Final Four, always among main title favorites with highest ambitions never leaving Croatian capital.

Coaching change occurred at the end of the last season with Kamenica succeeding Ivandija and Goluza. Compared to last season, Zagreb have decided to let SEHA League's best goalkeeper Ivan Stevanovic leave as well as Vujic, Cingesar, Sprem, Jotic and Markoski.

Refreshments and reinforcements are however already signed and we can say PPD Zagreb are looking even more serious than they did last season.

Reasons are as follows - one of Europe's best young goalies Urh Kastelic from Celje, young Croatian prodigy Tin Lucin from Zamet and two quality Croatian wingers - Valentino Ravnic from Umag as well as NEXE's Bozic-Pavletic. Mandalinic will on the left back position receive help from former Izvidjac player and young Croatian NT player Matej Hrstic and as a cherry on top of transfer period cake comes former Croatian national team player Damir Bicanic who has decided to come back home from France.

By all that, Zagreb will still fly on wings of experience provided by Horvat, Vori, Tonci and Josip Valcic, Skok, Markovic and Miklavcic as well as energy distributed by powerful young engines like Mandalnic, Susnja, Kontrec and Pavlovic. In case they manage to make all the little pieces function as a team on the court PPD Zagreb might have what it takes to make a step forward this season.

BEST 7: Skok - Markovic, Horvat - Vori - Mandalinic, J. Valcic, Miklavcic.
