Celje PL are making their first appearance on the SEHA - Gazprom League. They also had a very good season, in which they displayed a very modern and fast style of handball. Urban Lesjak, Borut Mackovsek, Ziga Mlakar and other players are just some who made a big step forward in their careers. They gave many other Final 4 participants a hard time in their head to head matches, especially to Meshkov Brest and PPD Zagreb.

The Slovenian champions finished the season in third place, behind Vardar and PPD Zagreb. Branko Tamse and his player will surely give everything it takes to reach the final match in only their first appearance!
