Tatran for the first place and revenge to NEXE

Vardar Partizan

Tatran's guest in 11. Round of SEHA GSS league will be Croatian NEXE. In case loss in Osijek to NEXE in the first part of the season didn't happen it would be perfect season for Peter Hatalcik's team. That is another reason why this match is so important for the home team, beside catching the first place and getting closer to reaching their goal, SEHA GSS's FF. Little bit harder job is ahead of NEXE after home loss to Zagreb... Another interesting thing is that both clubs are waiting battle for EHF Cup's groups, Tatran against Maribor, NEXE versus Ademar Leon. Here is what coaches and players think of the match:

Peter Hatalcik, Tatran's coach:

We know for sure that NEXE is a strong team and has its own quality. Even though they lost their last game against CO Zagreb at home, we shouldn't underestimate them. NEXE is one of two Croatian teams in this league and those are by that only two clubs against which we didn't manage to catch points. We need to build up our success on solid defense and try to do our best on the other side of court scoring as many goals as it will be possible, of course without any unforced errors. We also hope that our fans will be loud enough to support our team.

Radoslav Antl, Tatran's left wing:

We got some rest after our last two matches against Meshkov on Wednesday and Topolcany (Slovak Extra League) on Friday. Also we have been preparing for this match with all respect. Even though there is pressure on us to win this match at home and get important home points, we feel quite comfortable before this match. We're leaving pressure to our opponents.

Zdenko Kordi, NEXE's coach:

I don't only think about Ademar Leon. There are no calculations, we're always dong best we can to prepare for the next match. By that, Tatran is ready to finish the match very fast in case you enter the match badly. My wish is to play good at home as well as away. No fear or additional pressure., concludes Kordi.
