2021 WCh in Egypt has come to an end. In an amazingly narrow final and a battle between two great teams we’ve seen Denmark defend the world champion title (26:24) on wings of an extraordinary performance from their goalkeeper Niklas Landin who finished the match with 15 saves, two of which came in final two minutes sealing the deal in this encounter. In the third-place match Spain managed to come out on top versus France celebrating with 35:29. Rodrigo Corrales delivered an amazing performance finishing the match with 15 saves being one of the keys to their win. Former Vardar’s ace Alex Dujshebaev led Spaniards on the other side of the court scoring eight goals. Telekom Veszprem’s Kentin Mahe finished the match with two.
