Telekom Veszprem have decided to part way with coach David Davis following the loss against their biggest rivals Szeged in the final of Hungarian league Play-Off. After a season in which they've failed to reach EHF Champions League Final4 tournament as well, losing to French Nantes in Quarter-final, club leaders decided it is time to move on from Spanish expert Davis who led Hungarian giants towards Hungarian league and Cup titles as well as SEHA - Gazprom League title last season in Zadar.
“After what was, without doubt, an unsuccessful season for us I’d like to use the opportunity to thank coach David Davis for everything. I can assure everyone there will be more radical changes in our roster for the next season as well. We’d like to thank our supporters for being there for us and promise them we’ll all continue to work hard for our Club”, concluded sporting director of Telekom Veszprem Laszlo Nagy.
