Marko Kizic

With the most unusual handball season behind us, it is time for some changes in the SEHA – Gazprom League team rosters. Let's start with a review of this busy transfer period with the club from North Macedonia, Eurofarm Pelister.

A few familiar faces are making a comeback into the SEHA – Gazprom League, and two of them will join Pelister roster. After four months spent in Porto on loan, Marton Szekely found his new home in Bitola. Hungarian goalkeeper made his SEHA debut in season 2019/2020 with Telekom Veszprem. In that one season, he performed for Veszprem nine times and managed to reach 78 saves. Szekely is also a Hungarian handball national team goalie with 49 appearances and was named a goalkeeper of the year 2018. Alongside Szekely, Eurofarm Pelister signed another goalie, Marko Kizic who will change his Red&Black jersey after four seasons. Kizic was a part of SEHA – Gazprom League three out of four seasons spent in Vardar 1961, during which he managed to collect 28 appearances and 65 saves, and will continue to shine in the League, only wearing a different jersey colors.

From FRISCH AUF! Goppingen, right winger Josip Bozic Pavletic is making his comeback into the SEHA – Gazprom League, as he joins his third SEHA team. From season 2013/2014 until 2016/2017 he played for Nexe, while his time in PPD Zagreb started just after, from 2017/2018 until 2020/2021. This right winger won two silver medals at SEHA Final 4 in Skopje 2018 and Brest 2019 with Croatian champion. This 26-year-old is also an occasional member of the Croatian national team. Wearing a national team jersey, he achieved notable success, winning gold at Mediterranean games in Tarragona 2018 and at IHF Men's Youth World Championship in Hungary 2013.

From Metalurg, over Meshkov Brest and PPD Zagreb, Nemanja Obradovic joins his fourth SEHA team. He continues his handball path in Bitola. This centre back has 32 appearances in which he scored 95 goals. In addition to the above mentioned reinforcements, there are a few more coming to Bitola, while some players say thanks and goodbye to Eurofarm Pelister. Cuban national team player, Reinier Taboada joins Eurofarm Pelister team for the upcoming season 2021/2022, after three years spent in USDK Grand Littoral. He also played for A.A. Avanca, and in his two seasons in Portugal he scored 239 goals in 69 appearances and was named the best young player in Portugal at the time. Also, Cvetan Kuzmanovski will join the first squad as he transfers from Eurofarm Pelister 2.

The team from Bitola said their goodbyes to Gradimir Chanevski who will join the team Butel from Skopje. Chanevski spent four years playing in the League, as he was a part of Vardar 1961 during season 2014/2015 and 2015/2016, and Eurofarm Pelister from season 2019/2020 to 2020/2021. Karim Hendawy will also leave the club to join an Egyptian handball club Zamalek SC.
