Tatran on the highest level in Cetinje against Lovcen

Tatran u euro-stilu projurio kroz Cetinje

Lovćen - Tatran 1

European matches have not slowed Tatran from Presov. They were simply too good for Lovcen in Cetinje not giving them any chance at all from the beginning for the surprise. This win keeps them near Zagreb which is still one point ahead, but with a match less than Croatian champion. Their chances for Final Four are rising from round to round.

It was +10 on the half time, +17 in the end for Tatran which says enough of their domination. Tomas Urban was again unstoppable with 9 goals from 10 attempts. Only player on the required level in guest team's lines was Danijel Vukicevic but hat was surely not enough to challenge Tatran.

Peter Hatalcik, Tatran Presov's coach:

- We've entered the match ina much better way than the home team and we haven't simply given Lovcen chance to come back and surprise us. Last year's loss in Cetinje was the best preparation for this match. We're in good form, this win means a lot on our way to Final Four.

Zarko Pejovic, Tatran's player:

- This was an important match which we had to win. Quality is on our side and we've proved that with our performance today. Ina hard but successful week we've managed to win two matches, in EHF Cup against Kristianstad and in SEHA GSS league against Lovcen and that's what makes us happy. We're now waiting for the match in Nantes which will be a great challenge for our team.

Zoran Abramovic, Lovcen's coach:

- With all problems we're experiencing with our squad there wasn't much more we could do today. I am a little bit disappointed because I've expected my team to play better. Nikolic was playing without a training and our best player and captain Markovic was completely our of roster. Tatran is at the moment better team which will, by their current situation and form probably play in Final Four. We now have to work and show everyone we can play better.

Petar Petricevic, Lovcen's player:

- We're having too much problems to stand up against such a strong team like Tatran. We need to look for our chances in matches against teams of similar quality like ours. Goal difference today is surely disappointing but we have what we have at the moment. I believe we'll be better when our injured players return.
