Celje Pivovarna Lasko managed to secure themselves a big reinforcement for the rest of the season signing well-known face Ivan Sliskovic who is coming back after a tough period of dealing with mono. Croatian back shooter parted ways with Hungarian Veszprem a few months ago after wearing their jersey back from summer 2015. 26-year old is coming back after 15-months long pause. His last match was the one in Croatian national team jersey in Rio Olympics and his goal is to reach form he was in prior to health problems.

"First of all, I am really happy to come back to Celje, where I've already spent two great seasons. I am thankful to everyone in the club as they gave me a chance to get back on handball court. Really tough period is behind me and I hope I'll soon once again prove what I'm capable of. I'm still not sure how much will I need to reach good form, I'll start training with the rest of the team and see how things develop. My wish is to help my team and get back on track."
