Serbian derby of SEHA - Gazprom League will be played on Sunday (19.00 CET) in Pancevo with both teams being eager to use it as a chance to escape League’s bottom. Serbian vice-champions managed to stun everyone defeating Vojvodina 29:24 in the opening round away from home and by that, in the last round they even managed to take a point in a match against NEXE which means coach Ivan Petkovic is obviously doing a good job with a team which surely has the lowest budget in the League. Team from Slana bara managed to take a win against Metalurg (21:19) but their fans would surely like to see more of that.

Ivan Petkovic, Dinamo Pancevo coach:
Tight match is ahead of us because in last five matches we have 2-2-1 score against them. It will be a real handball spectacle. We’ve managed to beat NEXE which encouraged us and I’d like to invite our fans as they can expect a great battle tomorrow. We respect Vojvodina, everything they did for Serbian handball but if you ask me chances are 50-50.  

Stefan Saponjic, Dinamo Pancevo player:
I expect a tough match with Serbian derby being right ahead. I’d like to invite our fans to come and support us in this one.

Dragan Kukic, Vojvodina coach:
Dinamo deserved to win in the first part of the season but since then things have certainly changed with all the new players adapting to our style which makes everything look better. Match between Vojvodina and Dinamo will also be a kind of test for both sides ahead of national championship because I believe we’ll also fight each other in Serbian title race.

Milan Jovanovic, Vojvodina player:
We know Dinamo very well. Lately, all matches against them were decided by one possession. They are a very strong team, a team which plays real good defense. However, I feel like we’ve raised our quality comparing to the beginning of the season and now you will see real Vojvodina.
