Can Izvidjac grab their premier SEHA win of the season over Tatran?

Tatran

In the first of two SEHA - Gazprom League matches scheduled for Wednesday Izvidjac will in Ljubuski welcome Tatran Presov. Ahead of the encounter, league table implicates teams are in quite different moods with Tatran hoping to reach final tournament this season after a splendid start and especially with three points from Brest already in their bag. Hosts are on the other side still waiting for their premier win in the competition and looking back on the previous season they have the right to hope to achieve it on Wednesday as they were, two seasons ago when they last played in the league, at home with 33:28 better than Slovak champions. With all that in mind, it’s clear we’re definitely up to a great one so make sure to tune in on Arena Sport channels on Wednesday 18.00 CET!

Mario Bjelis, Izvidjac Ljubuski coach

We will on Wednesday play against a Champions League bound team which has a quality wide roster. We’ve used the last few days to work on things that weren’t functioning as well in previous matches and I really hope we’ll show improvement. Marko Vukic won’t play against Tatran but other guys are healthy and we expect this to be a good match.

Milos Kos, Izvidjac Ljubuski player

I’d like to use the opportunity to thank my coach for giving me a chance to play and represent Izvidjac in such a league like SEHA. Tatran are a strong team which plays well in Champions League and this will definitely be a hard match for us but we’ll look to give our max and hope for the positive result.

Slavko Goluza, Tatran Presov coach

This will definitely be a special match for me as it will be played not far away from where my family lives. Despite of all the emotions however, once the match starts, I’ll do everything so that we come out victorious. It won’t be easy as we will play a young, motivated, aggressive team but our goal is, I repeat, to win the match.

Tomas Cip, Tatran Presov player

After a tough Champions League match we didn’t really have much time to regenerate and prepare for what is coming. Long and exhausting trip to Ljubuski is ahead of us but I feel like we have what it takes to get back on the winning track after two losses in Europe.
