Izvidjac looking for the first win of the season against Zeleznicar

Zeleznicar - Izvidjac

Izvidjac will on Saturday (16.00 CET) in Ljubuski host Zeleznicar in Nis in what both teams are hoping can be a match in which they’ll reach three new points and open the second part of the season on a high note. Izvidjac are hoping to reach what would be their first win of the season and Zeleznicar are on the other side eager to prove both themselves and everyone else how much they have improved from the beginning of the season. This will also be a great chance for all the fans to see newly-acquired players in action on both sides since Izvidjac and Zeleznicar both have a quality winter break in terms of transfers behind them. Match will be broadcasted on Arena Sport channels so make sure to tune in!

Mario Bjelis, Izvidjac coach:
We made a few roster changes during the winter break parting ways with Kordic and Becic and signing Miljan Ivanovic who we hope will be available to play on Saturday. Delic will be sidelined in this one due to illness. I feel like we’re ready to face Zeleznicar although they also made some roster changes in the last month which is why we’re not completely familiar with their roster.

Josip Cutura, Izvidjac player:
In our premier match of the season in Nis we played good in the opening 15 and closing 15 minutes of the game. We’re now stronger with Marko Vukic who can help a lot on the defensive side of the court and I promise we’ll give our best and that no one will outplay us easily here in Ljubuski.

Veselin Vujovic, Zeleznicar coach:
Izvidjac are currently on the bottom of the standings but I don’t think that’s the realistic outcome. They have a young, competitive team which has a lot to show and display, especially at home. Tough one is ahead of us although I feel like we’ve significantly improved and I believe in our victory. I hope we can deliver a few quality outings in a row and improve our position in the standings which would serve as a confidence booster prior to Serbian Playoffs.

Predrag Vejin, Zeleznicar player:
Very tough game is ahead of us. Izvidjac lost a few home matches by one or two goals so far this season and against highly-favored opponents. We’ll both look to open the second part of the season on a high note. We went through a good preparation period, delivered some solid outings in a few friendlies and we’re ready to fight for the victory in this one.
