Vojvodina to chase Motor Zaporozhye on the home court

Nemanja Ratkovic

After two wins and defeat against Tatran Presov, Vojvodina are waiting for another home match in the SEHA - Gazprom League. This time, Boris Rojevic's squad will host Ukrainian Motor Zaporozhye in front of domestic fans on Tuesday, 1st of October at 5:15 PM (CET).

This will be the first important match of the week for the team from Slana bara hall, before the EHF Cup challenges next weekend against Spanish Abanca Ademar Leon.

However, tough job is ahead of Serbian champions, who have a lot of problems with the injuries. For the match against Motor, Rojevic can't count on Sretenovic, Milasevic and Grozdanic, while it is expected that Stankovic and Meduric will join the squad although they didn't train in the previous days.

Boris Rojevic, Vojvodina coach:
A tough match is in front of us. We have big problems with injured players. Just before the match, the injuries decided who will play.  We played in Slovakia without 8 players and already on Saturday we expect the most important match in the first part of the season against Ademar Leon in EHF Cup. So, this week will be the hardest one so far. We will fight agaist Motor Zaporozhye to show a good level of play.

Luka Arsenic, Vojvodina goalkeeper:
We would like to continue with good matches. I am very satisfied with our level of play. We don't know much about our rivals, but we know that they have a big quality as they play in the EHF Champions League. The spectators can expect a great match.
