PPD Zagreb managed to reach their third SEHA win of the season defeating Metaloplastika 30:35 in Sabac. Motivated hosts simply weren't able to come up with another stunner after an away win in Presov in the last round with Lions delivering a strong outing in order to snap a negative streak they found themselves in lately.

Guests managed to open the match the right way opening the gap to eight (6:14) only 20 minutes into the encounter. Defense was functioning well and in attack, which was in that period orchestrated by young Filip Vistorop they were patient working their way to the right scoring opportunity. Hosts found a solution later in the first narrowing the gap to five by the half-time whistle (13:18).

Metaloplastika played better in the second half not allowing PPD Zagreb to open the gap once again and seal the deal early. They however lacked strength and patience to close it completely and get back into this one. Coach Obrvan rotated the squad in the second giving everyone a chance in what ended up being 30:35 win for the Croatian champions.

Senjamin Buric and Matej Hrstic netted six each for PPD Zagreb in this one. Metaloplastika was on the other side led offensively by Vojislav Brajovic and his seven goals while Luka Ivanic and Dejan Babic added four each.

In the next round PPD Zagreb will travel to Slovakia to meet Tatran Presov in one of SEHA - Gazprom League classics and Metaloplastika will welcome Eurofarm Pelister.
