Tatran seeking fourth win in a row in Osijek

Tatran želi u Osijeku nastaviti pobjednički niz

Tatran Nexe

One week after NEXE's first victory in this season, Croatian vice champions will play another match in Osijek. On Saturday 4th October (19.00 CET) NEXE will host Slovak team - Tatran from Prešov. Team from Prešov is coming to Osijek after three excellent performances in the League starting with amazing 25:21 win in Zagreb. NEXE was last season better than Tatran in a match in Osijek but Croats think their guests are favorites in this match, especially because of Perica Lelić' absence.

Zdenko Kordi, NEXE's coach:

- Tatran is playing very modern and fast handball usually with lots of goals. Heart of their team plays together now for more than a few years and they know each other really good. They are even better with their new coach this season and our main goal will be to slow them down a bit and stop their fast counter-attacks.

Josip Božić-Pavletić, NEXE's player:

- Tatran has got a better team than last year and we are on the other side much younger loins some of our most experienced players. But, we all know that it is not always better team which wins in the end. In my opinion, team which will tomorrow make less techincal mistakes has a big chance to win. Our rivals are greatand if we want to win we need to 'leave our heart on the court'.

Peter David, Tatran's head coach:

- We are at the winning streak in both Slovak Extraliga and SEHA GSS League and we would naturally like to keep it going. We know that NEXE's current League position is not greata and that they'll do everything to win tomorrow and that is why this won't be an easy match for us. I hope we'll reach a positive result.

Andrej Petro, Tatran's player:

- After three wins in a row in this League we want fourth one. NEXE is a good team and we know that this match will be hard for us especially considering the fact we're playing in Osijek. We have to be really good and concentrated tomorrow if we want to win.
