Zagreb wins SEHA GSS derby of EHF's CL, Vardar and Veszprem 3 from 3

EHF Champions League's round 3 is behind us with five SEHA GSS representatives reaching 3 wins. SEHA GSS League's two biggest favorites - Vardar and MKB MVM Veszprem have managed to remain unbeaten, PPD Zagreb was in SEHA GSS derby of CL better than Metalurg and Meshkov was only a step away from surprising one of strongest teams in Europe - German THW Kiel. Let's start, step by step.

In group A, which has 3 SEHA GSS representatives, in regional League's derby of CL, Zagreb was in Zagreb Arena in front of more than 9,000 fans better than Metalurg from Skopje. In a thriller ending hosts have managed to reach a positive result which puts them on position three after first three rounds, right after still unbeaten PSG and Kiel. Zagreb's best scorer in their 19:17 win was Zlatko Horvat with 9 goals. On the other side Metalurg's MVP was Pavel Atman with 4 goals, Croat Luka Cindrić added 3. Metalurg is last, still without a point in Europe's best club competition.

League's third representatives - Meshkov, have in Brest hosted one of Europe's best teams, German THW Kiel. Zagreb will in the next round travel to Spain to play La Rioja, Metalurg will host Kiel in Skopje and Meshkov will play Paris Saint Germain in 'the city of lights'.

SEHA GSS still unbeaten representatives - Vardar and Veszprem are playing in group C. Hungarians have, in front of their remarkable fans managed to reach two new points narrowly beating French Montpellier 30:29. Veszprem's MVP was CL's best scorer of the last season Momir Ilić with 6 goals and this season's reinforcement Andreas Nilsson has managed to add 5.
