Zagreb as an careful favorite against Radnički

Zagreb protiv Radničkog oprezni favorit

CO Zagreb - Vojvodina 5

After the loss in Veszprem PPD Zagreb will on Saturday, for the first time, welcome Radnički from Kragujevac. The fact that they were in a last few weeks better than Kiel and Metalurg gives Zagreb a role of favorite against a team which has many times this season shown that they can even play against much stronger teams. PPD Zagreb is waiting for the clash with 9 points from 6 matches, Radnički has 4 from 7 with an addition that they still have not won a point 'on road'.

Veselin Vujović, PPD Zagreb's coach:

- Considering the fact that we have many injured players at the moment this is probably not the best situation in which we can be. We'll play without Mandalinić, Horvat and Josip Valčić against a good, quality rival with some great individuals like Nemanja Grbović, Ivan Šmigić or Nemanja Pralica. Their coach prefers tough defence and fast counter attacks which was visible in a match against Vardar in which they've managed to score 33 goals. I'll demand full concentration and motivation from my players, that's simply how I work.

Ivan Stevanović, PPD Zagreb's goalkeeper:

- Injuries of two of our most important players Horvat and Valčić have caused a little loss of tempo in our team but we have what we have at the moment. Those who are able to play have to play on their top level and do everything for a new win. It's important to enter the game fully concentrated. We, of course, respect Radnički but want nothing less than a win.

Nedeljko Vučković, Radnički's coach:

- We're going to Zagreb to play well against one of the biggest surprises of this season's CL in my opinion. Zagreb is an outstanding team with a great coach Vujović under which they are playing much better, tougher defence leading them to many counter attacks and it won't be easy to stop them. My team is a bit tired but we'll do our best to surprise them.

Ivan Šmigić, Radnički's player:

- It is enough to say that they've managed to beat Kiel to understand against how quality team we're going to play. You can expect nothing less than a good fight until the last minute. We're playing better each match and expect that to continue. They are the best example how an underdog might surprise favorite and I believe we can do it too on Saturday. We're in really good form lately...
