Veszprem as a big challenge for Radnički

Veszprem veliki izazov za Radnički

MKB-MVM Veszprem	- Meskov Brest 17(14/15)

One of the biggest matches in the history of handball in Kragujevac will be played on Saturday (18.15 CET). Handball fans in the center of Šumadija will have a chance to see one of the best European teams - Hungarian Veszprem. Guests are still without a lost point in the League which surely gives them big favorite role but Vučković’ players surely have motive and want to fight. One is sure - they have nothing to lose.

Nedeljko Vučković, Radnički’ coach:

League’s schedule has brought us five away matches and we weren’t given much chances to show what we can do at home, in front of our home fans. We have played two strong matches against Borac and Meshkov, we got a little bit tired against Zagreb but I promise my team will show a maximum against one of the best clubs in Europe at the moment. I would really like to call everyone to come and see the best team which has ever played in Šumadija and Kragujevac in last 20 years.

Dušan Petrović, Radnički’ captain:

This is the easiest match for us, because we will play against an extraordinary team. We have to be realistic and aware of our capabilities. MKB MVM Veszprem are one of the biggest candidates for winning the EHF Champions League, they are leader of SEHA GSS, without any defeat this season. We have to be relaxed, without any kind of pressure. I am sure that fans will recognize and praise that. It will be a real honour to play against TOP handball stars from Veszprem, but if we respect them too much, it could be bad for us. I except a lot of fans because such good teams do not come to Serbia so often.

Carlos Ortega, Veszprem's coach:

Radnički is a new team for us, we do not know too much things about them. In las0 few days we've watched videos about them and we know we must pay attention on their 3-2-1 defense. We must not underestimate them because it migh end bad for us. We did not have much time to rest and that's why I believe I'll rotate much tomorrow. We want three new points.

Gergő Iváncsik, Veszprem's player:
It was hard to bounce back after the national team break and we did not have so many trainings this week, but we've tried to prepare for this match well enough. We would like to continue our good series in SEHA League tomorrow and improve further as a team.
