Vojvodina looking for ‚third luck‘ against Tatran

Vojvodina traži ‚treću sreću‘ protiv Tatrana

Tatran - Vojvodina 3 (14/15)

Vojvodina have finished the first part of the SEHA Gazprom South Stream League without a victory, with three draws and six defeats, but it looks like that Serbian champions have found the form in the last couple of weeks. Đorđe Ćirković‘ team has managed to win the friendly tournament in Zrenjanin furing EHF’s national team week. Most important thing is that Uroš Elezović is back, with an MVP title from the tournament in Zrenjanin.

Đorđe Ćirković, Vojvodina’s coach:

After couple of games where we were incomplete, finally we have full squad. Similar situation is with Tatran, so I expect a very tough match. Both teams know each other very well. We have played a lot of matches against each other and that’s why I believe there won’t be any surprises. I hope that our fans will come in large number and help us win points.

Uroš Elezović, Vojvodina’s player:

We have played a lot of matches against Tatran Prešov and they were in each of them better than us. We will do our best on Saturday and try to win points against excellent team of Prešov. Our performance has to be on maximum level if we expect any points.

Peter David, Tatran‘s coach:

Although this is going to be our third clash against Serbian champions this season  we expect it to be a really tough match, with Vojvodina having slight home court advantage. We’ve won two previous matches and we believe we’ll do it again. They will be motivated but our goals remain the same despite of that.

Tomas Čip, Tatran’s  player:

We are ready to continue with good performances after a longer break in our schedule. We wish to reach three new points, get the most out of this match. It won’t be easy to achieve it, but I really believe in our team.
