Tatran for the first time versus Radnički

Tatran

Current Slovak champions Tatran from Prešov will on Saturday host Serbian vice-champions Radnički from Kragujevac. This will be their first SEHA GSS clash ever with Radnički having their 'rookie' season in the League. Tatran are currently fourth with 15 points, just like Meshkov from Brest - one of their main rivals in the race for League's Final Four. Radnički are on the other side seventh with 4 points, only one more than Vojvodina which is last and their goal surely is to run as a far as possible from League's bottom.

Guests will not be able to count on Aleksandar Gugleta due to an injury.

Peter David, Tatran's coach:

We are aware that Radnički are playing really good lately and we know we have to prepare well for this match. Our goal is not to suffer from any surprises, we have seen that they have performed on a really high level against one of Europe's best teams - Veszprem and we have to approach this match seriously.

Luka Urban, Tatran's player:

We must not underestimate our opponents. It is important to follow coach's directions for this match because we do not know much of our opponents. I believe we'll be able to catch three points with our home advantage tomorrow.

Đorđe Spasić, Radnički' player:

Tatran are a great team but we're not going to Slovakia to surrender. We have to play good in defense, fast in transition with as much easy goals as possible. They have higher, stronger players and we have to catch our rhytm, taht is our chance. This is our rookie season but we have to play as good as we can in Radnički's jersey.
