Unbeatable Veszprem, Vojvodina and NEXE among the best in EHF's Cup

Two wins, two losses and a draw. That is the result of SEHA GSS League's participants playing in Europe's best club competition last weekend - EHF's Champions League.

Three matches in group A with Meshkov reaching a draw against La Rioja at 33:33. Rutenka 8, Božović 5 for Meshkov. Kiel were better than Zagreb in Germany with 34:27 - Šebetić and Stepančić 5 goals each. Metalurg were also defeated. In Paris, against PSG result was 35:24 with Markovski scoring 6 goals, Manaskov and Vugrinec 4 each.

After seven rounds PPD zagreb are fourth with 6 points, Meshkov fifth with 5, Metalurg sixth with 2.

In group C Veszprem have managed to reach another win, this time at home against Chehovskie Medvedi with 38:31. Marguč was unstoppable with 9, Zeitz added 8. Vardar were better than Celje with 34:32. - Dibirov scored 7, Karačić 6.

After seven round Veszprem are first with 14 points, Vardar are right behind them with 9.

Two SEHA GSS League's clubs have managed to reach EHF's Cup group stage with NEXE losing 26:23 in Romania against Potasia Turda (but managing to defend +15 from the first match, Božić-Pavletić and Herceg 6 goals each) and with Vojvodina knocking big SKA Minsk out of the competition after 28:25 loss in Belarus (+5 from the first match have proven to be enough for the team from Novi Sad, Datukashvili and Elezović 5 goals each).

Tatran were not able to repeat last season's success and qualify for the group phase once again, but have managed to leave the competition with a win against German Melsungen at home. It was 26:25 (not enough after -7 in Germany) with Krok and Urban scoring 5 goals each.

Radnički have on the other hand managed to reach EHF Challenge Cup's Last 16 after a loss in Greece against Poseidon Loutraki, but with +13 from Kragujevac behind them. Pralica was great with 9 goals, Grbović added 6.
