NEXE waiting for the new season with three new players

On 27th of July Croatian vice champions NEXE will start with preparations for the new season. They will for fifth season in a row compete in regional League being one of the clubs which have been part of the League since its very beginning. The team has experienced certeain roster changes. Turkish right back Can Celebi has decided to part company with the team from Našice and join French Chartres. Club has also decided not to extend contracts with Marin Kružić, Karlo Oroz and Krešo Tomas. Instead of them they have signed Ivan Sršen from Varaždin who has previously played in Metković, Mislav Nenadić who has before NEXE worn 3 other jerseys - Marina Kaštela, Hungarian Tatabanya and Barnbach Koflachu and Bosnian national team player Damir Halilković who will strenghten the competition amongst line players, especially with Marin Sakić injuring his foot at the end of the season.

These changes are not to big, but they are good and represent some refreshment. Only chance for us to bring some other new players is in case we manage to find some TOP level players.

 

In NEXE they hope to play their matches in their home city hall which will this summer experience slight changes.

We're looking to invest in new stands with financial help of school our hall is a part of and Osijek-Baranja county. We really hope we'll finish everything by the beginning of new SEHA Gazprom League season.
