Vojvodina - Borac m:tel 4 14/15

Champions of Bosnia and Herzegovina - Borac Banja Luka, are entering the new season in better shape than they were in last season. However, certeain problems are still present which was most visible during the transfer period with  some of last season's most important players like Srđan Trivundža, Milan Đukić, Nikola Tešić, Duško Hercegovac as well as goalkeepers Petar Jokanović and Stanko Abadžić parting company with the club from Banja Luka. With them in roster Borac would without doubt be stronger but even without them challenges and goals remain the same. First of all they will host CL's qualification tournament (5th and 6th of September) where they will try to reach CL's group phase and of course they will do everything to have a better start in SEHA Gazprom League than in previous seasons.

Those two are main reasons why Igor Rađenović' team was forced to reach some reinforcements. New goalkeeping duo will be Damir Efendić - Tibor Ivanišević. First one with loads of experience from many clubs including Macedonian Metalurg and the other one with a few seasons in Red Star Belgrade behind him.

Wingers are all from Banja Luka - Mirko Mikić and Marko Ćeranić on the left as well as Miloš Nježić and Milan Probić on the right with experienced Ratko Nikolić and Đorđe Ćelić as pivots.

Back line has however experienced certeain changes. By Davorin Vujović club's leaders have decided to acquire young Serbian NT player Nikola Milošević as well as youngster Srđan Bilandžić which means that left back position is well filled. On the right side, by captain Branislav Obradović they also have Stanko Stanković, former player of Bosna Sarajevo and Derventa. Speaking of middle back, young leader Stefan Janković will receive help from Srđan Mijatović and Antonije Pavić.

Preparations schedule is pretty full. After first phase in Borik they will from 14th to 16th of August play on Marinko Kelećević memorial tournament in Belgrade along with Hapoel Rishon, Vojvodina and Tatabanya after which they will travel to Doboj to play on a tournament along with Sloga, Tatran, Gorenje, Vojvodina, Saudi Arabia, Odorhei and Antalya.

Crown of season's opening will be CL's qualification tournament in Borik where they will in semis play Austrian Alpla Hard and in case they manage to reach a victory, in finals they will meet better from the match between Norwegian Elverum and Limburg from the Netherlands. In case they do not manage to finish first they will continue with their European journey for the season in EHF's Cup (with 2nd or 3rd place in 3rd round, with 4th place in 2nd round). However, in case they manage to reach a triumph in front of their supporters, they will in CL's group play against Metalurg, Skjern, Motor, Schaffhausen and Baia Mare.
