Zagreb with +14 through Banja Luka, Stevanović' 23 saves

Zagreb sa +14 kroz Banja Luku, Stevanović 23 obrane

Borac - Zagreb

In 6th round of SEHA Gazprom League PPD Zagreb have managed to beat Borac in Banja Luka with 35:21 (17:12). That was Zagreb' fourth win in as much matches in the League while Borac are still waiting for their first.

Although they were playing without Stepančić and Pavlović, two of their best players they have showed why they are one of the best teams in Europe. Zagreb' victory was not questionable in any moment of the match, it was rising until final +14.

Former Zagreb' coach had his debut on Borac' bench but was not able to find the key for guest team' defence and unbelievable Ivan Stevanović with 23 saves. Everything else was a routine for Zagreb and a good info for coach Vujović after loss against Veszprem. Borac will in 6 days play in Brest and Zagreb will in 13 host Vardar in Varaždin.

Boris Dvoršek, Borac m:tel' coach:

Zagreb are another world for us, that's realistic. They are in good form with great players on each position and we can't compete against them. In a month we'll look better.

Tibor Ivanišević,  Borac m:tel' player:

We did not so far have results we expected. Our wish was for it to change it today but we kept on repeating mistakes.

Veselin Vujović, PPD Zagreb' coach:

You don't have to be specially clever to see the difference between these two teams. I was a bit afraid of this match and coming here without important players. We've had a few chances to decide the match in the first half but in the second we've managed to male out rotation and strenght visible.

Stanko Sabljić, PPD Zagreb' player:

It was important for us to catch winning mentality after a loss against Veszprem and show character. It was nice to come back to Banja Luka, I wish Borac all the best.
