Clash of SEHA rookies

Dvoboj novih SEHA ligaša

Maks

This season' two rookies will on Thursday, 19.00 CET clash against each other with Spartak hosting Maks in Subotica. Both teams will desperately look for a win after unsuccessful campaigns in EHF' Cup where they were knocked out of competition this weekend.

Serbian vice-champions have celebrated a victory against Borac at home along with a draw in Novi Sad which means that Zeljković guys could wait for new league's chellenges a bit relaxed with a win over Macedonians on Thursday. However, guests are after 4 losses waiting for a victory to boost them with self-confidence and regain motivation.

Marjan Andonov, Maks Strumica' coach:

I expect a good match. Teams are on equal level with slight advantage on home-team's side. I am looking forward to this match expecting all players to be available for selection and hoping for a victory.

Igor Milosavljević, Maks Strumica' player:

It's going to be a hard match. We have full respect for our rivals, but we came to Subotica to win.

Branislav Zeljković, Spartak Vojput' coach:

This is going to be a tough match of two, in most playing aspects, equal rivals. They have not managed to reach a victory so far in the competition and I believe they won't lack motivation. We fully respect them. Despite of that, we'd like to win giving our fans a certain reward for supporting us more and more lately. We did not have as much time as we'd like to prepare due to recent EHF' Cup challenges but we'll do our best focusing on defense.

Veselin Jelić, Spartak Vojput' player:

We expect a good match as we are on similar quality level. We're however prepared to win knowing that a victory would bring us a really good position with 7 points and we'll do everything to achieve it.
