Spartak looking to take revenge against Eurofarm in their last group phase match

Spartak

Last group phase match of the year is in front of Russian Spartak who will on Sunday (16.30 local time) welcome another SEHA League rookie team – Eurofarm Rabotnik.

With only one win so far, and despite of the final result in this one, Spartak will finish the season on the bottom of the group. Win on Sunday would on the other hand open a chance for the team from Bitola to surpass Metaloplastika who are currently positioned fourth and have a three-point advantage over Eurofarm.

In their premier encounter of the season Eurofarm managed to reach 34:29 win at home.

Vladislav Kosmodemianskiy, Spartak coach:
Goal is to deliver a good outing in our final match of the group stage against Eurofarm. I hope it will be a good match. We are playing against a quality team and be sure we’ll do our best to take revenge after suffering a defeat in our first encounter this season in Bitola.

Dmitriy Chernetsov, Spartak player:
I’m glad we’re playing in SEHA League. There are a lot of great teams in this competition and Eurofarm are definitely one of them. We are still young and every match is a chance for us to gain some experience and grow. I think we’re capable of delivering a quality outing against Eurofarm. I believe we’re up to an interesting one for both us and our fans.

Bozidar Mojsov, Eurofarm Rabotnik coach:
After a long series of defeats goal is to put an end to this bad period and win this last match. Spartak have a good team, they played a really good first half in Bitola and I’m sure match in Russia will be tough. Kukoski is back in the roster but Shevelev won’t be suiting up for this one.

Filip Churlevski, Eurofarm Rabotnik player:
First part of the season was very difficult. We’ve learned a lot of lessons and I hope we can be better in the future. This score is definitely not out maximum and I honestly believe we can reach another win against Spartak on Sunday. I believe in my coach and teammates.
