In an amazingly narrow match in Slovakia Metaloplastika managed to stun favored Tatran Presov in the end taking 29:31 win once again proving to be a dangerous opponent for everyone in SEHA Gazprom League regular season Group A.

Hosts managed to open the match well widening the gap to four goals (9:5) a little over ten minutes into the encounter. Defense was functioning well in that period and on the offensive end of the court their experience and patience helped them start the match exactly the way they wanted against a young but highly-motivated Metaloplastika team. Coach Vukovic however managed to calm his guys down as their attacks seemed much better organized in the second part of the first half. Apart from that, they allowed hosts only six more goals until the final whistle of the first which not only helped them get back into this one but also take 15:16 lead over Pisaric to put an end on first 30 minutes of the clash.

Metaloplastika managed to keep the tempo high in the second half as well slowly opening the gap to +3 not allowing guests to level the match and regain control. Once they opened the gap to 26:29 with only about three minutes left on the clock it seemed like this one is all over. Tatran however managed to score three quick goals, allowing guests only one in that period, narrowing the gap to only -1 (29:30) in the final minute. Unfortunately for home-team fans, Metaloplastika stayed calm with Pisaric finding Vorkapic on the right wing for what was the sixth goal for young Serbian national team winger as he sealed the deal in this one.
In the end 29:31 with Vorkapic and Brajovic leading their team offensively during this upset scoring six each while Rabek on the other side netted nine for Tatran.
